Pandemic Thoughts II

For visual storytellers 2020 has provided a platform during a troubling, unprecedented time to express deep fears and concerns. It gives a voice for creatives like myself to scream in the medium we are comfortable with; a medium of our choice where we are free to express the anguish, the pain and confusion we have witnessed and lived with for years. I am constantly searching for platforms to help us make sense of a complex, senseless situation. It feels like we are being forced to pause and unpack questions and concerns that may have been haunting us for years, but are too socially taboo to broach.

In a time where our generation is emotionally displaced and numb due to a sensory and informational overload, art provides us with the opportunity to transform our anxiety into creative action.
