The pandemic brought a clumsy and abrupt pause to the many creative plans I had for 2020. I intended to embark both on collaborative ventures and revisit annual exhibitions. The current environment made these aspirations virtually nonexistent. Despite efforts to mobilize and participate in virtual ventures, the emotional and psychological weight and sensitivities of being a creative made moving forward at times feel like attempting to run in quicksand. The opportunities presented in the latter half of 2020 has brought renewed interest and hope to pursue my personal creative goal. It’s November 2020, the flowers will bloom again!
